Mini Meet - Merchants of Edinburgh Golf Club 21st August

Afternoon all,

Taking the bull by the horns here and setting a date after checking the club fixture card. Sunday 21st August is the day after our Gents Open, so the course will be in excellent condition. An ideal time for a wee Scottish Mini Meet. The Merchants is a parkland course within the City where accuracy is the prime factor in shooting a low score. The course has some great views over the City of Edinburgh. I've been a member here since the mid 1980s and Mrs DCB and MVW are both currently members.

If you're interested please add your name below. I'm discussing with the Club at the moment but will advise costs when available. Unfortunately the club doesn't have buggies.

Probably looking to play around 11am and then make use of the bar and catering afterwards.

just realized the club championship last 16 is on this date, I would never had thought it would be a clash issue but maybe it will be now given my current form  

although im 90% sure ill be in edinburger getting treated to dinner by MvW

Still plenty of time , but out on the course yesterday on Finals Day and it was in superb condition.

Well worth a wee trip through to play this one in August
