Thought it would be good to start a thread for chat for the launch. Full details from 2pm today!

MPX - Expect you are a bit busy today, but when do fitters get their kit? Need to book in at Bearwood.

I think he said in an earlier thread that they would get them mid September, not sure that has changed, American golf listing as £840 for 7 irons on the hot metal, and £945 for the forged and tours 7 irons

Regards

2 years ago I got fitted into the 900 tours (even though I am far from good golfer) but never pulled the trigger. I've still got the fitting card somewhere so it will be interesting to see what I end up in. I'm upgrading from 825 Pros to I think there should be a pretty significant improvement. (Also, they are pretty banged up now)

Have Mizuno decided to change the way they measure club length? The 919's are 0.25" longer than any Mizuno iron I have owned.

I think it's just 'keeping up with the neighbours' in the same way lofts have been strengthened over the years. Most other OEMs have been strengthening lofts and increasing club length to claim increased distance and unfortunately many golfers believe it.

I think they used to be measured without the grip whereas its now included??
I'm sure i also heard/read that with the new HD forging that they have actually been able to soften the lofts by a degree but kept the speed and distance.

Does anyone know what the bounce's are on the 919 wedges?

I think the gap is 7, the lob wedge is 9 and the sand wedge is 13, but don’t hold me to it
