JPX 919 blending

Hi. I am thinking of combining 7-4 hot metal pro with 8-GW forged. Any advice on the shaft combination. I had fantastic grouping with the stock HMP shafts (c taper lite) but not sure if it makes sense to use the same shaft all through or switch according to the head.
any advice very welcome.

Hello @Mizzyconvert. Wondering what you ended up going with as I am looking to add the Hot Metal Pro to my 4 iron spot to blend with my JPX 919 Forged 5-GW. Were there any loft adjustments or length adjustments done to the HM Pro to blend with the forged set?

Hi. In the end I decided to stick with HMP through the entire irons 4 to SW. I felt the adjustments might just be too difficult to get right first time so would probably mean several adjustments which I did not want to do. As a general point though, having changed from Calloway irons the HMP feel much softer to me and closer in feel to my old forged blades. But that may be just me!
