We had this Free Drop software tested in a local forum event and it was really great fun.
There is an iPhone app that you keep your scores in. Within about 6 sec it is seen online and in all the handhelds simultaniously. So the full online leaderboard travels through the round in your pocket.
Some great experience to see how the field battles against each other and teams also. There are announcements pointing who had made a birdie and how people are making a move on the leaderboard.
It is a bit beta still, but now there is a basic stats section to keep your stats and they told to develop different stats along the process as they have a mile long enhancement suggestion list.
The application is very easy to use as the user part of the developing company is pro golfers, who knows where to concentrate on a round. For instance I have about forgot to use a regular scorecard on my rounds.
