Hello to all, i have just bought a set of MX 200 irons 4-pw, and was custom fitted on a launch monitor. I am just curious because i was unable to see my actual ball flight. I usually have a high ball flight but was losing distance with my old clubs (Wilson DI7)I was told by the pro that the dynalite gold xp shaft in a stiff flex would still give a high ball flight but with no loss of distance.
I this correct i havent had a chance to try them out yet.
Thanks

Hi there.

I'm by no means an expert on the subject, but I too was recently custom-fitted for a set of MX200's. Unless you have a very fast swing speed, I'd have thought that a stiff shaft would be harder for you to hit. I got to hit my clubs on a range where I could see the actual ball flight and my swing speed was measured at just less than 80mph. I was recommended to go withn the regular 'R300' steel shafts.

As I say, I could well be wrong, but you are a very similar handicap to me and you having been recommended stiff shafts surprises me unless you really have a quick swing.
