A cracking day out today with great company at a lovely course.
In great condition for the time of year, greens fast and true. A three club wind made it a proper test.
Banana's putter was having a mare at the start turning an 8 foot birdie putt into a bogey 5. The Chef started well but had a few 'issues' at the par three third hole :lol:
Overall both of us drove the ball well, The Chef holed three 20+ footers and I'm sure he'll tell you all about his magical up and down on 16
When all was done and dusted the scores added up to:
The Chef 31 points
Bananas 32 points.
Both of us would have settled for that at the start, personally that was my best ball striking round for a while and about 8 more points than I've managed in the last couple of months.
