This should a great tournament as always on a great course. I'm not the biggest fan of the changes to the 18th, but that is a discussion for another day. The field sure is loaded this week, another Westwood, Donald shootout maybe?

With all the pressure of playing with you the other day D I would have thought this would be a walk in the park for Luke ;-)

In all seriousness though I think Luke has a good chance this week, he knows the course and let's not forget he won here last year. I would expect Westwood to be up near the top as well.

Didn't they tweak the 18th again? Make it more playable?

Oh they did? Do you know what changes they made? Just did a quick google search but didn't see much on it.

I'm heading over for the weekend so hoping for sunshine and a finish like last year would be much appreciated. Would love it if Luke, Lee and Rory are in contention on Sunday.

They lowered the whole green back to it's original level again!

They had raised it by around 1m (3ft in old money), but it's back down to where it started again...

Who planned a Forum event when all this is going to be on TV ?

By the time I get back home on Saturday night I'll just be ready to sleep so saturdays action may have to be recorded.

They also created a landing area just short of the original ditch and have flattened out the back end of the green - the guy living opposite me has just been appointed their head greenskeeper (or estates director as they call it there) - a few free rounds at Wentworth for me (dutch junior is best mates with the son who plays of 2).

In retrospect, it was bad timing... ;-)

But I had to book it when I knew the sun was going to shine!!

Did you see Justin Rose has moved from Adidas to Ashworth BTW?

Same company (under the TMAG umbrella) but it's going to be a bit more of a grown up look for Justin out there from now on. He was even sporting the flat cap in this little preview. He will undoubtedly have a career as a pundit after he hangs up his spikes, one of the more eloquent golfers.

Not complaining D. If I wasn't playing at Brampton I'd be playing at my own Club. You've got to get out when the sun shines cause it goes for long enough without shining up here ;)

Must say I'm getting pretty exicited. I have always really loved this event. Went last year (my third visit) but this year will be watching on TV. So glad the weather has changed just in time.

Last year's finale was brilliant, hope we get as tight a finish this year.

I fancy a home winner again. See the Tour Van guys think Woody could do well. I think Rock or Rose could be in the mix but with such a quality field it's wide open.

Bring it on!

Marc Warren - clubhouse leader with a 4 under 68.

Is he still sneaking Mizzy irons into his Nike staff bag?
