After a brief trip to the dark side, nike, i have returned to mizuno.
I went for a fitting yesterday to hit the new mp18 range plus 900 forged and tour. The mp18's are amazing, but what was abundantly clear was that if I'm not hitting it great i get severely punished by the mp18's.
I eventually went with jpx 900 forged in 5-7 and jpx 900 tour in 8-pw. Good 6i were consistently carrying around 180 with bad ones going 165, which was same as better ones with mp line. The best shaft turned out to be the modus 105 in stiff flex. Only down side is I've got to wait until 20 sept to get them as they are waiting for heads at the factory.

Good lad :)

The 900 forged are excellent. I'm toying with the idea of the MP18s but realistically I'm sure I'd be better with my 900s. The 18s look so lovely though

I just started playing with the 900 Hot Metal irons. The do have a slightly different feel, but it's still quite pleasant. Might be worth a look...
