I could use a little more forgiveness in my long irons (maybe 3-5 iron). I picked up a near new set of MP-14s (DGS300) about 6 years ago and have been very happy with them after switching from Hogan Edge Forged Irons. I tried a friend's MP-60 long irons and hit them consistently a club longer and straighter. So, I just recently picked up a 3 iron (DGS300) like new on ebay for only $25.00 shipped.

The problem is that the MP-14s have very weak lofts and I am unsure what LOFT is recommended on the 3, 4, 5 MP-60 irons to blend/mix correctly into the 6-PW MP-14s?

Thanks,
Jason

Well, no replies. I'm guessing no one is playing MP-14's anymore.

I've now picked up:

1. Like New MP-60 3 Iron with DGS300 SL (Superlight) Shaft - $25.00 shipped
2. Near New MP-60 4 Iron with DGS300 SL (Superlight) Shaft - $23.25 shipped (just got today)
3. Near New MP-32 6 Iron with DGS300 (standard) Shaft - $25.00 shipped (still on the way)
4. Still looking for the right price on an MP-32 5 Iron

I am now thinking (3,4) MP-60 -- (5,6) MP-32 -- (7-PW) MP-14: Any Thoughts?

Anyone put together a mix like this?

Anyone put SL shafts in only their long irons?
