Does anyone know when the new 2019 versions of the MP will be launched?

Any pre-launch images etc?

First hints usually come around the time of The Open in July with the launch to retail in September. That's what has happened in previous years.

Bear in mind these MP clubs will be 2020 models.

Are the JPX-919 clubs classed as 2019 clubs? I cannot remember.

i.e. throughout next year will the JPX-919 be "current" and only replaced around September 2020?

I guess the "19" in the model answers the question, but I am a bit out of touch with model years.

I ask because I am thinking of ordering 919 Tour irons in a few months.

Varry, Get the 919 Tours no matter what year!!! if Mizuno can make a better iron than the 919 Tour then no more golf clubs can ever exist..... They are better than anything you could ever hit.

jokers... there’s a reason that Brooks and the rest are gaming JPX919 Tours..... they look and feel like an MP but play longer, higher, faster and easier.

Best clubs ever

I played 53's for the last 6 years. Loved them. Won't have anything bad said about them. Very, very accessible MP iron. I've recently been to a fitting and have to confirm that technology has indeed moved on. the 919's are better (for me), I've gone the FORGED route. Totally get where you are coming from and I didn't upgrade for that reason. I only would if I saw performance improvements, again (for me) I did :). Some was the move from Project X to the LZ's, efficiency went up by about 5%, that's huge...........

I had MP53’s then MP25’s. I’ve now gone to the JPX919 Tour and I agree, the 53s were a great club but these tours are something else.

I too have changed shafts and that has had a big play on performance. Used a Dynamic Gold S300 135g shaft for 12 years, just changed to the PX LZ 6.0 120g.... oh my 🤭
