Afternoon all, I've just joined so my first post, go easy!

Apologies if this has been discussed previously, however I'm looking for some thoughts on the above.
Bit of background on me, always loved Mizuno irons, MP33's were my favourites until I sold them for some unknown reason, was going through a trial period, regretted it ever since. Currently play MP5's which are fantastic, however the new JPX919's do look tempting, which leads me to my question...........

To date I haven't had a chance to hit the new 919's, done the waggle test in the pro shop, they look great. Given how good Mizuno irons are, is there really a big difference between the 919's v the 900's. Given the 919's have been released there are some good deals out there for the 900 Tours, and I'm very tempted.
Anyone on here hit the MP5's against the 900/919's? I'm interested to see how they compare on feel.

I'm not too bothered by forgiveness, you hit any iron badly and it'll be affected, I'm more intrigued about feel and feedback.
Just thought I would ask and see if any of you had any views or thoughts?

One last point, I assume the 900/919 can be bent 1* flat and 2* strong without any problems?

Thank you in advance,
All the best

Ignore this chaps,

I went down AG midweek and gave the 919's a good few hits, they are lovely and so are the MP18's, but not lovely enough to drop £800 and get the MP5's out of the bag.

MP5's remain.

You can still get 2017 JPX 900s on-line from good retailers. I got the Hot Metals for £399 and love them. I know they still do the Forged as well.

Thanks, but I'm looking at getting some new S18 wedges so going to stick with the MP5's. I regretted selling my MP33's years ago and I really would be buying a new set just for the sake of spending money. The MP5's are perfect for me. No need to keep looking for perfection!

All the best

Welcome.

When you went to AG was that just to have a look?

Because it is probably one of the most unsuitable places to buy clubs from. More so if they are custom fitted.

Yeah it's not really to do with the fitters at AG as there are some good ones about - My experience has been that they don't operate the best business practices & orders with Mizuno tend to take much longer than ordering from a Pro shop or other online retailers like Snainton etc - If you need to trade clubs in, it can be worth the wait as AG have done some great trade in offers ...

Plus there is the major issue of AGs credit rating.
Serious issue if you are supplying to them.
